‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 27: Taking the first step
They say to find forgiveness and heal, one needs to make amends. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t really looking to make amends with anyone, but she’s going to try for her freedom’s sake.
First up on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)’s agenda for her is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who will be nowhere close to considering Phyllis anything but a disease after how she helped destroy Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier)’s marriage.
And when she tries to blame Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) for “manipulating and forcing” her to do it, she’ll be lucky if Jack doesn’t throw a pie in her face and laugh at her.
The only one deluded enough to believe her lies at this point is her daughter, and that’s only because Summer’s proven to be just as irrational when it comes to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as Phyllis and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 27: Summer goes on the attack
Speaking of Summer, it looks like she’s going to bump into Kyle and try to instigate a conversation. During that time, she’ll try to warn him that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is using him and will only hurt him.
Kyle won’t be having it after Summer put her mom before their marriage and his mom, but things will stay somewhat calm until Audra shows up.
Things will get catty between them, well, mainly from Summer since Audra doesn’t have any emotion in this race, and that’ll only infuriate Summer more.
Things could get interesting as Summer’s passion will probably push Kyle further away, but Audra’s lack of it will leave him stuck in neutral on how to feel about her.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think this will be key going forward, and if he can get Audra to open her heart again we could be seeing a new power couple in Genoa City.
There are a lot of possibilities going forward across the board, and it’s fun seeing the show have this much energy again. It’s still nowhere close to where it was in the 80s and 90s, but it’s making strides in that direction.
