‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things rolling with some fun spoielry goodies to share.
This episode has the feel of a classic from the 80s as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will draw on some of the tricks he learned while battling Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and it looks like Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will play a pivotal role.
Of course, there’s still some Newman family strife going on that’s going to complicate things, but that’s pretty much the norm anymore. We’ve got the popcorn, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 25: Too good to be true?
In what looks like a magnanimous moment, Victor will offer Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) the chance of a lifetime as he’s going to create a fashion arm of Newman Enterprises and he wants her to run it.
This will take her by surprise given how he’s tried to test and manipulate her in the past, and with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at her side, he’s going to be looking for the standard hidden agenda.
In a curious twist, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are on Victor’s side in this as we think he’s trying to bring the whole family together under the Newman umbrella.
It’ll definitely be something Sally will want to think over and possibly accept and that opens up a whole new can of storylines as she didn’t want to take a job from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) but may accept one from his father.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 25: Dusting off some old tricks
Using Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as a way to get inside Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John’s defenses is brilliant, and harkens back to the glory days of the show when Jack and Victor were at near constant war with each other.
But this may not be all of Jack’s doing as Diane is adamant that he doesn’t give up part of the company he loves so much, and that means she could be the mastermind behind Billy’s role.
Still, it’s the perfect move as Billy gets along with his siblings and he can be around Ashley as a calming presence and voice of reason, though we get that’s hard to imagine for Billy.
But more than anything, his past give him a key into both sides as he’s been where Tucker and Diane are and he’s come back, so it’ll ingratiate him until he can do whatever he has to do to stop Ashley’s plan in its tracks.
Assuming it works, of course.
