Jack Perry has won the FTW Championship, and defeated the best that ECW had to offer in 2023 in Rob Van Dam. While he might not be the greatest champion in the belts history, he can be the last. Tonight, Perry intends to retire the FTW Championship on AEW Collision, unless someone can stop him.

Jack Perry Tries To Destroy The FTW Championship, HOOK Returns

Perry would come to the ring with attendants carrying the FTW Championship like a casket. He’d hold the belt up once it got to the ring, before placing it down on the table between some flowers. Perry knows the history of the belt well, it’s been misunderstood – and has grown near and dear to his heart.

In 100 years when professional wrestling historians look into the FTW Championship, they’ll see the face of Perry – the final champion.

He’d play a slideshow of him hanging out with the belt, before grabbing a sledgehammer to smash it. Instead, he’d be distracted by a video from HOOK – who would be behind Perry, and attacking the man who stole the FTW Championship from HOOK.

Simply put, Perry can’t destroy the FTW Championship, because the belt is just a prop – HOOK is the true FTW Championship. He’d send Perry through a table with a suplex, and laid down a simple challenge – for Wembley, All In Zero hour. HOOK intends to take the belt back, and Perry has barely a day to prepare for this match.

Orange Cassidy Finds Himself In The Wrong Part Of The Ring

Eddie Kingston was the one to call for Stadium Stampede for All In, and tonight looks to start his weekend with some momentum. Even with the injury to Rey Fenix, Kingston has four men by his side, including one of his best friends – Penta El Zero Miedo and the AEW International Champion, Orange Cassidy.

Taking on the trio of Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade – this will not be a simple match for Kingston, Penta & Cassidy – but that makes for an excellent warm up for facing Blackpool Combat Club.

Penta would kick things off with Sabian, taking time to work up the crowd with his signature taunts as the bell rang, before Penelope Ford would attack Alex Abarahantes on the floor. This set the tone for a brawl, as Sabian pulled Cassidy to the floor, and Butcher traded big shoulder tackles with Kingston.

Penta would try to regain control by taking down Butcher & The Blade – only for Sabian to yank him groin first into the ring post.

Cassidy & Sabian would meet in the ring, with Sabian taking a superkick but blocking a potential suplex. Sabian would also block a Tornado DDT attempt, before setting up Cassidy for a neckbreaker from Blade for a two count.

Butcher hit the ring for a leg drop, before a hard hammer throw into the corner. Cassidy’s position as champion means that pinning him in a trios match is grounds for a title match, and someone like Butcher knows this well.

He’d hit a series of forearm smashes to the spine of Cassidy, before making a tag for Blade to hit a snap suplex for the near fall.

    Putting Kip Sabian Down

Cassidy would work to break across the ring, using his speed to evade all three opponents and get Penta into the match. Penta would hit a series of slingblades, before a superkick to Blade. Leaving him on all fours, Penta was able to spring off the back of Blade and hit a Canadian Destroyer on Sabian.

Butcher & Kingston would meet in the ring, with Kingston showing the hard hitting style that gave him success in the G1 Climax.

A huge enziguri dropped Butcher, before Sabian & Blade were stacked in the corner for some machine gun chops. Butcher broke the pinfall up, but Kingston sent him from the ring.

With Sabian legal, Kingston hit a massive sliding elbow smash to the face – and got the three count. Kingston, Cassidy & Penta showed they are in fine form tonight – and are ready for a fight with Blackpool Combat Club.

After the commerical break, Best Friends joined their partners for All In on camera. Trent would say that Blackpool Combat Club messed up when they went after his mom, AEW fan favorite Sue. So at Wembley – Trent is fighting for his mom.

Jon Moxley would appear on the screen and send a message to Kingston, and allowing Santana & Ortiz to explain why they chose to align with Moxley, instead of Kingston again.
