‘The Young and the Restless’ star, Hayley Erin is returning to the show this fall. Hayley played the role of Abby on the show, but she is not returning to reprise her role. The actress will be playing a whole new role.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Hayley Erin Returns
Erin, who played Abby on ‘Young and the Restless’ from 2008 – 2010, and Ava’s late daughter Kiki on ‘General Hospital’ from 2015 to 2019, is returning to ‘Young and the Restless’ later this year. Erin won an Emmy for the role of Kiki (before Kiki died).
She has been pretty busy with TV gigs, playing Taylor on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and working on several films. Erin married handsome Irish actor Adam Fergus in 2020 and the couple welcomed twin daughters, Maude and Juno, in 2021.
Erin is not coming back to play the role of Abby on ‘Young and the Restless’. This time, she will feature as Claire Grace, who’s going to be somehow a part of the Newman Media as well. Erin’s return to ‘Young and the Restless’ has especially thrilled castmate Camryn Grimes, who took to Twitter to write, “Did I manifest this?! Who knows! But magic can’t be denied, and having @HayleyErin join us is a dream come true.
We get a talented cast member AND my friend back stateside?? Please and thank you! Congrats, my love.” Erin replied to Grimes tweeting, “I love you.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ has been bringing back some characters, so Hayley Erin is another surprise. Viewers will get to see veteran soap star, Veronica Redd, who will be coming back to the show to reprise her iconic role of Mamie.
Currently, we don’t know when Claire Grace will first appear on the show and for how long she is going to stay, but we know that viewers are in for some drama.
