CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here, ready and willing to share the last spoilers for new episodes for a while.
Just when it looked like we had a good game of poker going between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), they ended it on one episode. Or so it looks like it.
There’s no denying the damage they’ve done to each other has left a near unbridgeable chasm between the two, but there’s always a chance for Victor and Adam to come together in the center, or a little off center would probably be better.

Victor’s efforts weren’t in vain
Victor gave it his best effort, but Adam is too jaded by his life experiences to believe Victor’s story, but we saw glimpse where Adam had to think about it. Since the beginning, he’s shown a desire to avoid this endgame scenario, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think he’s even willing to want Victor’s to be true, to have his father love him enough to give him something to let him know he belongs somewhere.
But in the end, he couldn’t bring himself to buy into Victor, mainly because he can’t remember what he’s being told.
Adam will head home, where Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be there to help Adam work through his emotions of betrayal that he believes his father has played on him. Claire will help him pick up the pieces and out them back into place where she thinks they go.
This will be a huge turning point for Adam as he’ll consider not publishing the article, but Chelsea will offer her support and gently prod him into acting against Victor.
If the article is published
If Adam decides to publish the article, things are going to hit the fan quicker than we can imagine, and that’ll be the end of things. Victor will be able to buy his way out of trouble and Adam will be the one cast out from the family. He may even undergo a police investigation and that could lead to other things being unearthed that won’t be good.
And if he doesn’t publish the article to protect his father, he’ll be labeled as a lying, manipulative black sheep, which is normal. Except if he does this, he’ll earn the respect from Victor he wants and may even leap frog Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as Victor’s favorite, but Victoria will most likely return to the CEO chair. But wouldn’t it be cool if Adam got to keep it?
Since we have to wait for production on new episodes to begin, let’s let our creative sides loose and come up with some possible outcomes to this scenario, or any that you wish to talk about.
