We have a major event tonight in the form of WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House! You can expect the same coverage of the show as always! That means live results of the show below, plus links to in-depth recaps! Watch this space!

Match 1: In the opener, Mia Yim teamed up with Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox in a six-woman tag team match against Candice LaRae, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. During the match, Yim and Candice fought their way up the ramp and to the backstage, turning it into a 2-on-2 match. Dakota and Gonzalez tried for a double team but a miscommunication saw Kai kick Gonzalez, and this let Tegan Nox finish off her rival and get the victory.

Match 2: The second match of the night sees Damian Priest take on Finn Balor. A back and forth, wild affair saw some brutal use of the steps, including Priest falling right off the apron and landing back first upon them in a harsh impact. In the end, Balor got the victory with two sets of Coup de Grâce!

Match 3: In the first title match of the night, Keith Lee defends the NXT North American Championship against Johnny Gargano. In a match that involved run-ins from Candice LaRae and Mia Yim, Johnny’s use of a key, Lee’s hand and eye being several injured, in the end Lee got the win and retain the title in a wonderful bout.

Match 4: Up next was the Backlot Brawl for the NXT Championship, seeing Adam Cole defend the gold against The Velveteen Dream. It served the niche of being the mandatory cinematic match of the show and was pretty spectacular. Dexter Lumis helped fend off Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish (by stuffing them into the trunk of his car and driving off with them) but in the end, Adam Cole hit a Panama Sunrise onto a stack of chairs to finish him off and retain the title.

Match 5: In his TakeOver debut, Karrion Kross went up against Tommaso Ciampa. In a shockingly dominant display, Kross tossed Ciampa around for the entire match and then choked him out for the major victory.

Match 6: The main event saw Charlotte Flair defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai. In a stellar match, in the end Rhea Ripley was caught in the Figure Eight only for Io Shirai to nail her with her moonsault – Charlotte could not break up the pin in time and Shirai finally won the title!

I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.
