Tony Nese has long been one of the best Cruiserweights in all of WWE, but he’s struggled to match up with heavyweights. Despite this, he picked a fight with Bronson Reed, who is making his first apperence since his wicked brawl with Karrion Kross. During a dark match against Leon Ruff, Nese would disrespect his opponent, and Reed would have none of this. Would Nese be able to mock Auszilla like he did Leon Ruff?
Bronson Reed Isn’t Going To Be Stopped By Cheapshots
The match would start slowly, with Nese taking time to compare physiques. Nese has abs for days, but Reed has no need for that as he threw Nese across the ring. He’d hit a quick armbreaker on Nese before using his power to control the arm. Nese would shove into the corner to break the hold, and not give a clean break. He’d have control briefly, until Reed decided otherwise. Reed would pick him up like a toddler for the military press, before hitting a huge senton.
After a brief brawl on the outside, Nese would be thrown back into the ring, but he’d be in position to throw the apron over Reed’s head and get more cheap shots in. These cheap tactics would keep Nese in control, but it would only take a few strikes for Reed to regain control. Blocking the over-the-rope special from Nese, Reed would come back with a manhattan drop and a bionic elbow. He’d be stopped with a shot to the throat, and Nese would get him down for a springboard moonsault. This got a near fall, but Reed would come back fast. Getting Nese on the mat with a lariat, Reed would fly from the top rope with a splash, and Nese wouldn’t get back up.
Standing Up For Leon Ruff
Leon Ruff has been on all WWE programs lately, and with Reed standing up for him on this week of NXT? This could indicate a signing. A cruiserweight and a super heavyweight makes for a great tandem, and they could make a great addition to the NXT Tag Team division. Do you think Leon Ruff is going to show up on NXT more often, or was this just an excuse for Reed to wrestle Nese? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
