WWE Smackdown Results and Recap returned backstage as Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura enjoyed themselves with glasses of champagne as they continued to celebrate being WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik) arrived, but Cesare and Nakamura mocked them as it’s a champions only party and Metalik had his chance earlier in the night.
This is so going to be a fun feud going forward.
Sheamus’ warning
WWE Smackdown Results and Recap returned from commercial with Sheamus talking about his mistake last week was fighting Jeff Hardy in his natural environment (a bar).
He said it was like giving him home field advantage, and he felt Jeff getting stronger and stronger.
It was a testament to his own bravery and courage that he made the match as close as it was.
He’s not worried about pushing Jeff Hardy toward the bottle as it’s only a matter of time. He’ll sit back and let nature take it’s course.
Jeff’s not his problem anymore and he’s not Jeff’s. It’s bad news for the Smackdown roster because Sheamus is their problem now.
Lacey Evans vs. Naomi
Evans came out and mocked Naomi’s social media movement and promised she’d add another loss on her.
The match began fast and Evans pushed Naomi into the corner and made a point of drapping Naomi’s hair over the rope in homage to her previous victory.
Naomi charged and tried a head scissors, but Evans caught her and power bombed her instead.
Evans continued to mock her, then pulled Naomi to the center of the ring where she planted her face first into the mat.
She then dragged Naomi to the corner and wrapped her around the ring post, making sure to break the hold before she was disqualified.
After bouncing Naomi off another ring post, Evans pinned Naomi’s hair in the ring stairs, but naomis got loose.
Naomi hit with a couple of kicks that sent Evans out of the ring, then hut with a sliding powerbomb/sunset flip bomb before pushing Evans into the ring for a near pinfall.
Evans ran Naomi into a corner, then tied up Naomi’s hair in the ropes but it didn’t hold.
Evans missed with a Woman’s Right, and Naomi countered with a rollup for the pin.
The match was mediocre at best, which makes us wonder what they’re really capable of if allowed to wrestle without the hair gimmick.
Otis and Many Rose return
WWE Smackdown Results and recap return as Otis and Mandy Rose were walking backstage and Rose said she reserved a room at Otis’ favorite restaurant.
But she wanted to surprise him with a “peach sundae” with whipped cream and a cherry on top. They then separated to get ready, and Sonya Deville stepped into view when they were gone.
Something’s gonna happen.
WWE Smackdown Results and Recap came back from commercial to find Mandy Rose at a mirror utting on lipstick when Deville approached her from behind.
When Rose turned around, Devilled attacked her, then messed up her makeup while slapping, kicking, and asking what she had left now.
With Rose face down on the floor, Deville grabbed a scissors and a few fistfuls of hair and started cutting her hair off.
Deville has lost her mind as she claimed Rose ruined her life, so now she’s ruin hers.
After knocking Rose out, Deville dug around on the table untul she found an electric razor.
Officials surrounded her, so she dropped the clippers and left with a fistful of hair.
Tyle Braxton then reported that Rose was being attended to when the Miz and Morrison interrupted and Miz acted like he was ashamed this happened.
Miz even said Rose now looked like a soccer mom as he and Morrison traded hair cutting puns before Tucker drove them off.
