WWE Smackdown Draft Results (10/9) – WWE Draft Round 1; Falls Count Anywhere – Big E Defeated Sheamus by pinfall

Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Draft Results!

Looks like we have an interesting night ahead of us with the WWE Draft starting tonight, so let’s buckle in and get ready for the ride.

The show started off with Michael Cole and Corey Graves prepping us for the draft, and it was followed by Stephanie McMahon coming out to announce the first picks.

    WWE Draft Round 1

The first pick for Raw is WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

Smackdown chose WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Raw selected the Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.

    Smackdown selected Seth Rollins.

Raw selected The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander.)

Backstage, Rollins said it was the message that mattered the most, and he’s pleased to go to Smackdown, but he’s upset he won’t get to watch the Mysterio family implode.

Though he was grateful “never to see their disgusting faces again.”

An interesting goodbye, and we can’t help but wonder if Rey and Dominik Mysterio won’t be drafted to Smackdown.

Falls Count Anywhere – Sheamus vs. Big E

This started as fast and furious as we expected with them exchanging blows, and Sheamus flattening Big E with a shoulder block for a near pinfall, and followed it with a rolling senton for another pin attempt.

Big E cause Sheamus’ charge and hit a one armed slam and Sheamus rolled onto the apron.

Big E hit with a dive through the ropes and attempted a pinfall n the floor.

Big E dug under the ring, and after pulling out some wheels he grabbed a kendo stick, but Sheamus hit with a knee for a near pinfall.

Sheamus continued to pound on Big E, driving him back first into the ring apron.

Sheamus then tied Big E up in the ropes and nailed Big E on the chest with the kendo stick, then switched to the other side, showing his versatility as a switch hitter as he hit Big E a few more times.

A pin attempt followed and Big E kicked out.

Sheamus then dug under the ring, crawling all the way under, but Big E grabbed some duct tape and tapes Sheamus’ feet together.

Big E then wailed on Sheamus with a kendo stick, sending Sheamus over the barricade as we headed to commercial.

    Victory at last

Back from commercial, Big E followed Sheamus backstage and continued beating on Sheamus all the way back.

Big E picked him up, but Sheamus hit with a series of knees before suplex slamming Big E onto a table and then hit him with the kendo stick until it broke.

Sheamus dragged Big E over to a baker’s table (no kidding) and then bathed him in flour and slammed a tray of eggs into his head before throwing Big E into a storage container.

Sheamus shoved him down the hall and through a door, kicking and stomping on him as they went.

Sheamus grabbed a small tv, but Big E countered with a broom a handful of times before having to switch to another one.

Next up was a trash can that Big E beat Sheamus with three times.

Big E ran and slammed the trash can into Sheamus’ face, knocking him into the parking garage.

Big E paused to coat his hands with sanitizer we assume to put into Sheamus’ eyes, but it never happened.

Sheamus tried to crawl away, but he found a tire iron and his Big E twice before putting Big E through a windshield with a White Noise, but Big E kicked out of the pin attempt.

Sheamus then slammed a car door on Big E a few times, then popped the trunk and threw Big E into it.

Sheamus then tried to slam the trunk to break Big E’s arm, but Big E caught the trunk with his foot.

Big E then sidestepped a Brogue Kick that broke off the trunk.

Big E power bombed Sheamus a car hood and he slid to the concrete. Big E followed it by slamming Sheamus into the windshield and a Big Ending off the car and through a table for the win.

    Old friends reunited

Jey Uso headed to the ring, but the focus remained on Big E in the garage as he was interviewed.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods arrived in costumes for their return.

Kofi mentioned something was missing, and Woods pointed out he knew what it was, and they did their WWE championship dance.

WWE Smackdown Draft Results really enjoyed this segment as it was a cool reunion between the three of them.
