Friday Night SmackDown takes place tonight, and there is a huge Hell in a Cell rematch set to main event the card. It was revealed during last week’s episode that Sasha Banks will be defending her newly won Women’s Championship against Bayley tonight, which could be another instant classic.
Bayley taunted Banks last week by claiming that she doesn’t have what it takes to defend a championship in WWE, but tonight we will finally learn whether Bayley’s comments were on the money or wide of the mark.
WWE SmackDown: Banks vs Bayley
It’s hard to imagine that Sasha Banks and Bayley aren’t going to have another classic on SmackDown this evening, as the two women have been in too many great matches to remember. The most recent of those came just a couple of weeks ago, as they contested in easily the best women’s hell in a cell match of all-time. This one may not be as hard-hitting, but it will still be fun to watch nonetheless.
WWE SmackDown: Survivor Series Teams To Be Formed
Over on Monday night, Raw’s team is already looking stacked with talent, which means that SmackDown will need to start to put together their own team that can be competitive at the major PPV next month. Tonight we could find out which superstars could be joining both the men’s and women’s teams.
Bianca Belair is the only member of the women’s team at present, which means there must be at least one or two other superstars set to join her on the blue brand’s team this evening. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso are already in the team, but there will be keen eyes to see which superstars joins them, and whether there will be repercussions from Uso’s attack on Daniel Bryan last week.
WWE SmackDown: What’s Next For Aalyah and Murphy?
The feud between Seth Rollins and the Mysterio clan has been going on for what feels like an eternity, but there was an interesting development last week as Aalyah finally confessed her love for Murphy. It’s fair to say that Rey and Dominick weren’t exactly welcoming to Murphy, while Rollins was loving all the shenanigans from a distance. We could be about to find out what happens next in this ongoing love story tonight on SmackDown.
