WWE Smackdown Results returned as the match started with McIntyre and Jey locking up and McIntyre easily overpowering him and shoving him into a corner.
Jey locked him in a headlock, and McIntyre nailed him with a shoulder block off the ropes.
Jey hit a few rights, but McIntyre reversed and threw him into the corner, caught him coming out, and threw him back before hammering on him.
McIntyre put Jey in a corner and ripped off his shirt to hit a chop, and then he suplexed Jey for a near pinfall.
McIntyre caught him off the ropes with a chop and challenged Jey to prove himself.
Jey hit a jawbreaker to get a breather and tried to whip McIntyre into the corner, but McIntyre reversed it. When Jey lifted up to let him run under him, McIntyre hit him with a kick.
Jey sent McInyre over the top rope but ran into a right when he tried to dive through the ropes.
Jey then kicked the ropes for a low blow when McIntyre was entering the ring.
Jey hit a superkick to send McIntyre to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Jey comes close
Back from commercial, Jey was in control in the ring as he pummeled McIntyre.
McIntyre hit with a couple of rights and a chop, and Jey hit a Samoan Drop off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Jey kicked and stomped McIntyre, then ran into a clothesline.
McIntyre followed it with a second one and then a belly to belly throw off the ropes.
McIntyre hit another Belly to belly throw and a neckbreaker and then kicked up.
Jey reversed a Future Shock DDT into a rollup, but McIntyre kicked out.
McIntyre hit with a Glasgow Kiss and a popup slam for a near pinfall.
Jey hit with a superkick and then headed to the top rope but McIntyre met him with a couple of rights.
Jey blocked a superplex and hit a headbutt into a Tree of Woe. McIntyre sat up and threw Jey across the ring, but Jey slipped out of the ring to avoid a Claymore.
McIntyre followed him out and bounced him from the barricade to the ring apron and back again when Reigns’ music started and Reigns came out with Heyman.
Jey shoved McIntyre into a ring post and then another, then threw him into the ring steps.
Jey threw McIntyre into the ring and told Reigns he’s going to beat him. Reigns pulled Jey from the ring and told him to make McIntyre understand.
Jey then mounted McIntyre and pummeled him.
Understand me now?
McIntyre then hit a Claymore for the win and he locked eyes with Roman Reigns before sliding out of the ring and confronted the Tribal Chief.
McIntyre asked if he understood him now, and Reigns said they’ll talk more on Sunday.
The show was pretty rough, but this and the Mysterio-Rollins match made it fun.
