There promises to be an action packed night of wrestling for fans to look forward to this evening, as SmackDown will air. Fans will be looking forward to seeing the fallout from last week’s show as we build closer towards the TLC PPV at the end of the year. SmackDown has been the best place for wrestling action on the main roster throughout much of the year, and that promises to be the case once again this evening.
WWE SmackDown: Kevin Owens And Roman Reigns In Tag Action
One of the matches that we could see this evening could see Kevin Owens and Chad Gable teaming up to take on the team of Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. Last week, we saw that Uso continued to obey the instructions from his cousin, as he attacking Otis with a steel chair. Reigns told his cousin that he didn’t believe that the SmackDown roster respected them following Survivor Series.
Uso’s actions mean that Otis will be kept off television for a few weeks now after picking up an injury, which means it could create a spot for Gable to show what he is capable of doing. It will also be an interesting taster of what we can expect to see at TLC when Reigns and Owens square off for the Universal Championship.
WWE SmackDown: Title Match Set For TLC
There wasn’t a better match on SmackDown last week than that of Sami Zayn vs Daniel Bryan. But, as much as fans would love to see the two superstars compete in a number of title matches, it would seem as though we could get an even better match up.
For many weeks the Big E push has been reported, and we could finally begin to see the signs of that as he gets a singles title opportunity against Zayn. There could be a stipulation put in place for the match too, as Big E looks to ensure that there is no advantage for Zayn. It could be a fitting match to end the year.
WWE SmackDown: Carmella vs Sasha Banks Announced
One of the worst kept secrets over recent weeks is the direction that the WWE will be going in with the Women’s title on SmackDown. Carmella re-emerged after a period of time away from the company to attack Sasha Banks before Survivor Series, and the two will undoubtedly be in a match against one another at TLC. It will present a new threat to the Bosses’ championship reign, and elevate Carmella back to the top of the card in the process.
