In the third episode of the podcast, Renee Paquette had CM Punk on. After asking what so many have asked CM Punk in one way or another. CM Punk had this to say about his future in wrestling;
“Without wanting to insult anyone on either side of the fence any WWE talent or any AEW talent it would take, above all, an interesting scenario and a story that would be fun to tell,” said Punk when asked. “Also, the stupidest amount of money, but they could just save themselves a whole lot of money if they just presented, like, a fun storyline.”
Long time story telling to the max
It really could be that CM Punk could be on his way to AEW at some point. With him having a sort of a Twitter exchange by mentioning that Tony Khan has spoken to CM Punk in the past about joining.
With him mentioning that the money wasn’t there. This feels like this could be long term storytelling. He did say he would return for a good story and time could catch up to him at some point and sooner is better than later.
