Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
We’re set for a fun night as this is the Go Home episode before TLC as we get to see two pay-per-view caliber matches, and finish setting up any remaining matches.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action.
Kevin Owens started the show by heading to the ring following a recap of Roman Reigns’ attack on him last week.
Owens started it off by telling Reigns he’s been waiting for this all week and he’s not waiting a minute longer and called Reigns out to the ring.
Reigns didn’t come out, so Owens said he heard the message Reigns sent to his family. He said he had a talk with his family and he told them not to watch their match at TLC.
He said it’s not because he’s afraid of what Reigns will do, but how his family will look and think of him for what he’ll do to Reigns.
Reigns still didn’t come out, so he continued by pointing out he heard Reigns cares how his kids look at him, and he said they see him as a hypocrite for jumping him from behind and using his family members as pawns.
Owens added that Reigns knows he’s not the head of the table, but a coward.
Paul Heyman appeared on the titantron and told Owens to stop already.
He said Owens knows how Reigns comes out when he’s ready, and then admitted that he was wrong about Owens.
He thought Owens was a masochist, and he assured him that Reigns is a sadist when it comes to beating down Reigns.
He then added that Owens is a martyr and is willing to pay the price to be the Universal Championship. He said that mutilation won’t stop Owens, and that he has to be eliminated.
Owens promised to find Reigns and headed to the back as we headed to commercial.
Reigns makes his entrance
WWE Smackdown Results returned with Adam Pearce walking with Owens backstage, bagging him not to do this.
Pearce told him that Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is this Sunday so he needed to think about this.
As Owens reached Reigns’ dressing room door, Reigns’ music played and he headed to the ring with Paul Heyman.
Owens stewed as he watched Reigns’ entrance from a conveniently position television next to where he was at.
Reigns started it off by saying he doesn’t want to hurt Owen or his family, but he’s running around telling the world he’s a bad guy,
Reigns said he’s not a bad guy; he’s doing what it takes to be the guy and told Owens he doesn’t understand and told him to stay in his lane.
He then said he’d give Owens the same chance to acknowledge him as his tribal chief, and Owens left the backstage area to head to the ring.
Reigns added if Owens acknowledges him as the head of the table, then they’re good. If he doesn’t, Owens won’t make it to TLC and then demanded Owens comes out to apologize to him.
Reigns turned to face the ramp as Owens came out and Jey Uso attacked him from behind and the two exchanged blows before Reigns joined in.
Reigns landed a series of rights, then let Jey jump in with more rights.
They continued mauling Owens two on one before officials eventually made their way down to try and break it up.
Reigns threw Owens into the barricade to finish sending his message and walked away.
Owens kept trying to get to his feet, but he looks like he’s done for a while tonight.
He’ll never stopped
Backstage, Jey was saying how Owens knows what they mean now, and Reigns said he doesn’t understand.
He added that he knows Owens’ kind and he won’t listen or stop, and he instructed Jey to end him; take him out because he doesn’t want to see him anymore.
