WWE Raw Results returned as Keith Lee approached Triple H backstage while he readied for his match. Lee said he gets that Orton is pushing Triple H’s buttons, and he said Hunter’s been there since he arrived and he wants to be there for him and in his place.
Triple H said he appreciates it, but he made this mess and he’s got to clean it up.
Lee handed him his leather jacket and said, “it’s time to play the game, huh?”
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose
The match started out with Rose and Baszler and they locked up and Baszler took Rose down and then attempted to injure Rose’s arm but she rolled away and tagged in Brooke.
Brooke locked in a headlock while Jax blind tagged in, and Jax hit her with a shoulder block and then threw her into a corner where she hit a splash for a near pinfall.
Jax locked in a shoulder lock, but Brooke managed to hit a jaw breaker to break the hold.
Baszler came in and tried to keep Brooke from tagging out, but Brooke threw her onto the apron.
When Rose tagged in, she ducked Baszler’s clothesline and hit a kick to the midsection and followed it with a couple of clotheslines and a front slam.
Rose then drove her into a corner and hammered away on her, then hit a running knee for a pin attempt Jax broke up by pulling Rose out of the ring and nailing her with a headbutt.
Jax then tagged in and threw Rose into the ring. Jax hit a Samoan Drop for a pin attempt, but Broke broke the holt.
Baszler hit Brooke with a backbreaker and Jax threw Rose into her in the corner and hit a splash.
Baszler tagged herself in as Jax was about to climb the ropes and locked in a Coquina Clutch on Rose for the win.
Jax didn’t look happy. The fuse between them is now lit. WWE Raw Results have been waiting for this feud, though we do love them as a tag team.
