At NXT New Year’s Evil, Karrion Kross had his first big win since returning from injury when he took Damien Priest down. It’s clear that he wants to get his NXT Championship back, as he never got a chance to have an actual reign. Tonight on NXT, we might get to hear what his next moves are.
But first, a victim to destroy, that being 205 Live regular and competitor in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Ashante Adonis. We’ve seen Kross win matches in a matter of seconds before, so how long will Adonis survive?
Karrion Kross Blows Ashante Adonis Away In Less Than Five Moves
Ashante Adonis is no slouch, he’s a man who has beaten The Brian Kendrick, but is no match for Karrion Kross. He peppered Kross with strikes, before ending up in the Belly to Belly Suplex. Soon after, he was dropped on his head with the Doomsday Saito.
The referee made sure Adonis was okay, and he took a second Doomsday Saito. Kross let Adonis struggle to his feet, before dropping him with an elbow strike to the back of the neck. The referee’s count was more of a formality than anything.
Another Victim For Kross After The Bell
After the match was done, the tag team partner of Adonis for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Desmond Troy would check on him, only to get choked out with ease. We didn’t get any new information on what to expect from Kross, but it’s clear that he’s going to rip through the roster to get back to the top of the roster.
After this mauling, there is now an opening in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Ashante Adonis has been written off as injured due to Kross. Who should get the open slot in the tournament? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
