Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we should be in for a fun episode tonight as new storylines will start in the Royal Rumble aftermath.
With plenty in store for tonight, WWE Smackdown Live Results are going to grab some snacks, but we’ll see you back here at the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Roman Reigns started it off and was upset that Edge wasn’t there and forced him to wait, and demanded that Edge will give him an answer as to who he’ll face by the end of the show.
Segment 2
Dominik Mysterio w/ Rey Mysterio vs. King Corbin
After attacking the Mysterios while heading to the ring, Corbin dominated for the most part until Dominik hit a crossbody on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Rey crawled under the ring and held onto Corbin’s foot so Dominik could hit a 619 and a splash for the win.
In other words, Dominik is incapable of defeated Corbin without resorting to heel tactics. Way to make the kid look weak instead of overcoming Corbin on his own.
Segment 4
Danial Bryan vs. Cesaro
A fun match had Cesaro and Bryan put on another clinic before Cesaro won by submission after slapping on a sharpshooter.
Segment 5
Bayley vs. Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan
This was a really good match that Riott came close to pulling out before Bayley hit a leg assisted face plant for the win.
Segment 6
Bianca Belair came out to celebrate her Royal Rumble win, and was interrupted by Reginald and Carmella.
Sasha Banks came out and gave Belair props, and Belair then whipped Reginald with her hair when he told Banks she got lucky and laughed at her.
Segment 7
Otis and Chad Gable vs. Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode)
This was a good match that Roode won after hitting a brainbuster on Gable for the pin.
Segment 8
The WrestleMania 3 Andre the Giant and HUlk Hogan match was roughly a minute long before Hogan said Edge reminds him of himself.
If talking about the match in detail to celebrate it like they’ve been hinting at would take away from their current talent, maybe they shouldn’t rely on part timers main eventing?
Segment 9
Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match – Big E (c) vs. Sami Zayn vs. Apollo Crews
This started off fast and Zayn picked his spots and put up a good fight before they took it to the floor where Crews hit a standing moonsault on Big E, and Zayn hit him with a flying elbow as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was the best match of the night by far, and Big E won after hitting Crews with a Big Ending. This match could’ve ended with any of the three winning and we would’ve been happy.
Great effort and match all around.
Segment 11
Edge came out and Reigns demanded he make his choice after he sent Jey Uso to the back. Kevin Owens then attacked Reigns from behind and hit a stunner, leaving Edge looking pleased with himself.
This was a pretty good show and we enjoyed it and the ending was a nice touch, though WWE Smackdown Live Results should know by now that when they say someone’s not there theyy will appear.
