Roman Reigns has been stacking up plenty of enemies in his run as the Head of the Table, and WWE Smackdown Preview expects more of the same tonight.
While the biggest news is that Edge challenged Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania, that was already expected by many fans and came as little surprise.
We’ve grown accustomed to Reigns headlining no matter what, and this time he’s doing it as a fan favorite heel.
There’s plenty of time between now and WrestleMania, and Fastlane is quickly approaching.
Reigns feud with Daniel Bryan to continue
Despite defending his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan, we don’t think Bryan will be done with him yet.
Let us rephrase that he won’t want to be done with Reigns yet.
After losing in short order, Bryan will probably get pushed aside and used as motivation for Cesaro to continue his push.
This isn’t really a surprise since it was announced that Bryan wants to switch to a part time position in the near future, and this could be continuing that movement.
He’s already helped several superstars get a push that weren’t before, so it’d make sense that he’d continue helping Cesaro.
So, WWE Smackdown Preview expects Reigns to open the show with his usual proclamation of his greatness, and Bryan will come out an congratulate him on his win and may even challenge Reigns to another match.
This could bring out Cesaro, and a probable number on contender’s match between Cesaro and Bryan that’ll result in them getting jumped at the end of the show.
Big E vs. Apollo Crews vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
After Crews’ attack on Big E last week, there’s no way Big E will walk away from Crews no matter how much he wants to.
While it feels like a showdown between Big E and Crews is bound to happen at the next pay-per-view, there’s no reason not to expect a preview tonight.
The WWE has booked its way into either a singles or triple threat Intercontinental Championship match with Nakamura being the lynchpin to put both of them over.
To be honest, Nakamura should be moving into a feud with Reigns as Big E and Crews are more than capable of keeping their feud going without a third party. But that’s just us.
This three way will continue in some manner, and it should be interesting to watch what Crews will dish out next if Big E tries to evade him again.
Will Big E accept Crews’ challenge? Let WWE Smackdown Preview know in the comments below.
