We should have a fun show tonight with some possibilities of new storylines and feuds ready to start, so let’s settle in and get ready for the action.
After heading to the ring, McIntyre grabbed a microphone and he said it’s been a real bit—of a month, and turned his attention to Sheamus.
He said he doesn’t know why Sheamus stabbed him in his back, but they’re going to have a war.
Then the turned his attention to the aftermath of the Elimination Chamber and Bobby Lashley’s attack.
McIntyre referred to the Miz as their resident cockroach when he said he cashed in the MITB contract and became the WWE Champion.
He said his mission is simple and it’s to regain his WWE Championship and main event WrestleMania. He said he didn’t do everything he did the last year to be screwed at the finish line.
The Miz interrupted him as McIntyre was about to call out Sheamus.
Miz and John Morrison came out and Miz said he wants to be officially introduced and the ring announcer introduced him as the current WWE Champion and pyros went off.
The Miz said he couldn’t help but overhear what McIntyre said and added he admires how he’s handled everything with dignity and class.
Miz tries to wiggle out of his situation
Miz said everything that happened was beyond his control as he was destined to win once he got the MITB contract.
McIntyre invited him into the ring to give him a hug, but Miz declined, then asked why McIntyre would be upset with him.
Miz added that cashing in the MITB is what’s supposed to be done and then said McIntyre should blame Lashley.
McIntyre said he’s not going to do the Miz’s dirty work and that Miz will have to deal with him himself.
The Miz then said he’s the victim because he never asked for Lashley’s interference and that Lashley threatened his well being to force him to make that deal.
His pleading fell on deaf ears, even as the Miz said why should someone like Lashley get a championship shot instead of McIntyre.
Miz asked for them to work together, and was interrupted when the Hurt Business music started and MVP came out.
MVP asked if this was the beginning of a new beginning relationship or the rambling of two desperate men.
He asked if McIntyre was taking this seriously, and McIntyre told him he doesn’t need any help.
MVP then said that’s fine because nothing’s going to stop Lashley winning tonight, then added that Miz and Lashley’s match will begin at 9 p.m.
Miz turned back to McIntyre and said they need to work together to put an end to Lashley and Sheamus came out and said he’s wasting his breath.
Sheamus said McIntyre doesn’t care about anyone but himself.
The pair met on the floor outside the ring and exchanged blows as the officials tried to separate them and McIntyre sent Sheamus over the barricade with a clothesline as WWE Raw Results headed to commercial.
