WWE Smackdown Results returned to find the Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode) joining the commentary team. Glad to see we get this special treatment with extra commentators for another week.
Can’t wait to see them interfere somehow.
Ford and Dominik started it off and Ford hit a rear waist takedown and Dominik reversed it into an armbar.
A fast paced run of reversals followed as Ford and Dominik put on a clinic in athleticism.
Ford shook Dominik’s hand and kicked him in the midsection, and casually went for a reverse suplex.
Dominik rolled out of the lackadaisical attempt and landed on his feet, making us wonder if he actually kicked Dominik and gave him time to catch his breath.
Ford then pushed him into the ropes where Rey could make a blind tag, and after Dominik reversed the whip Rey his Ford with a dropkick for a pin attempt.
Rey locked in an armbar and Ford whipped him into the ropes. Dawkins blind tagged in as Ford hit a shoulder block.
Dawkins reverse suplexed Ford onto Rey and Dawkins went for a pin attempt, then hit a corkscrew splash before tagging in Ford.
Rey ducked away from another corkscrew splash and Ford picked him up for a slam, but Rey hit a hurricanrana to send Ford into the ropes.
Rey tagged in Dominik and turned into a right by Dawkins while Dominik climbed to the top rope and hit Dawkins with a hurricanrana, and Ford caught Dominik’s 619 attempt with a clothesline.
Ford hit a reverse suplex for a near pinfall.
Nothing’s ever easy
Dawkins came in and picked up Dominik in an electric chair but Rey slid between his legs to knock Ford off the top rope. Dawkins caught Rey with a big boot and Dominik hit a rollup for a pin.
Oddly enough, the Street Profits came across more heelish than the Dirty Dawgs.
This was a pretty fun match and Ziggler and Roode enjoyed it and they said they’ll talk about giving the Mysteiros a shot at their tag titles.
The Alpha Academy came out to confront the Mysterios, and Chad Gable asked them if they think that win gives them a title opportunity before them.
He pointed out they embarrassed them already and reiterated how Otis squashed them.
Gable and Otis turned to address the Street Profits on the ramp and the Mysterios knocked them out of the ring.
Dominik took both out with a crossbody over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
