WWE Smackdown Results returned as the Dirty Dawgs and Alpha Academy jumped their opponents from behind as they neared the ring and leveled all four members before the match started.
Back from commercial, they’re in the ring with Dawkins and Roode starting it off.
When the bell rang, Dawkins ducked a clothesline by Roode and knocked Ziggler off the apron, then hit and elbow and a right on Roode before a couple of ducks and leap frogs off the ropes before Dawkins hit a bulldog.
He then hit Roode with a dropkick and one for Gable.
Ford tagged in and dropped Roode with another dropkick and tagged in Dominik, and Ford and Dominik hit a wheelbarrow leg drop on Roode for a pin attempt.
Roode buried a knee into Dominik’s midsection and tagged in Gable.
Dominik takes a licking
Gable hit a blow to Dominik’s midsection and threw him into the ropes.
Dominik hit a hurricanranna off the ropes and Otis tagged in and nailed Dominik with a right to the stomach, then caught him when Dominik tried to flip over him in the corner.
Dominik fought out of his grasp and landed on the apron, then went for a springboard but Otis hit with an axhandle to the chest.
Gable came in and hit Dominik in the midsection and whipped him into the corner and hit a double underhook bridge suplex for a near pinfall.
Roode came in and went to work on Dominik’s left leg with a wrenching hold and then a knee drop.
Roode tried a suplex but Dominik fought out of it an hit a tornado DDT to buy some time.
Dawkins and Ziggler tagged in, and Dawkins dropped Ziggler with a clothesline, knocked Gable off the apron, then hit Ziggler with another clothesline.
He then hit a corkscrew elbow off the ropes and a release suplex before he nailed Otis on the apron.
Ziggler caught Dawkins with an elbow and Dawkins hit a spinebuster.
Ford headed to the top rope, but Gable distracted the referee while Roode shoved Ford to the floor.
Rey tried to argue their case as we headed to commercial.
Dirt Dawg tricks
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Ford in a reverse chin lock by Ziggler.
Ford fought to his feet and fought out of the hold with some rights, but Ziggler hit a dropkick.
Ford fought out of their corner but missed a step up kick and Ziggler slapped on a sleeper hold to keep him from tagging out.
Ford dropped to his knees and then to all fours with Ziggler on his back, but Ford powered to his feet and carried Ziggler over to tag in Dawkins, but Roode distracted the referee so he didn’t see the tag.
Dawkins got a couple of rights in on Ziggler before the ref pushed him back and Ziggler dragged Ford back to his corner where all four members worked him over.
Roode came in and hit with a kick and then a backbreaker for a near pinfall.
Otis came in and dropped Ford with a right, and then whipped Ford into a corner, but Ford dodged his charge.
Gabe tagged in and knocked Dawkins off the apron, then went for a German suplex.
Ford landed on his feet and dove over Gable’s tackle attempt to tag in Rey, who hit Gable with a shoulder and a couple of rights before hitting a hurricanrana and then knocking Roode and Ziggler off the apron.
Jailbreak wrestling
Rey hit a tornado DDT off the ropes on Gable and Otis broke up the pin attempt.
Otis then caught Dominik off the top rope, and Rey hit a Sitton before he sent Gable into the second rope.
Roode blind tagged in and caught Rey off the ropes in a spinebuster for a near pinfall that Ford saved.
Ziggler hit Ford with a superkick, Dawkins hit Ziggler with a double underhook neckbreaker, Roode threw Dawkins to the floor, and Dominik distracted Roode so Rey could dropkick him in the back to set him up.
The Mysterios hit a double 619, then Dominik took out Gable on the floor with a crossbody, Ford tagged in as Rey took out Otis with a crossbody on the floor, and Ford hit a From the Heavens on Roode for the win.
This was potentially the best match of the night and a great way to get the show rolling. Do you think the Street Profits should get a title shot or let someone else have a chance?
