WWE Raw Results were curious as before Kofi Kingston came out, Styles and Omos talked about their debut as a tag team at WrestleMania, and Styles is excited to see what he’ll do to the New Day.
Styles mentioned how Omos will put them through the ring almost like burying them in what seems like an homage to his match against the Undertaker last year.
Style predicted they’ll beat the New Day, and the New Day came out.
Kingston asked if he said they’ll defeat them, and Woods said he did and that they’ll bury them like in Styles’ Boneyard match.
Kingston switched to an English accent as he mocked Styles for hiding behind his giant.
Woods told Omos no one can pin him and Styles will only bring him down.
Styles said he found him and will take care of him, and Kingston and Woods asked him questions like what is Omos’ favorite color and ice cream, and Styles was wrong on both counts.
When asked who Omos’ favorite WWE superstar of all time is, Styles said himself and Omos said Andre the Giant.
Woods told Omos there has to be trust in a tag team, but how can he trust Styles if he can’t remember what his favorite color is.
Styles then took the New Day’s song with “AJ rocks” much to their chagrin. Guess they needed a time eating segment?
And it starts
The match finally got under way as Kingston caught Styles’ initial kick and locked in a headlock and took Styles down to the mat.
Styles tried to throw Kingston off the ropes, btu Kingston held on so Styles rolled him over for a pin attempt, and then tried the ropes again.
Kingston refused to let go until Styles’ third attempt in the ropes, and Kingston took him down with a shoulder block for a pin attempt.
Kingston locked in another side headlock and took Styles down again. Styles managed to get to a corner to break the hold, but Kingston locked it in again.
Styles reversed the hold and hit a shoulder block off the ropes, then ate a elbow for a pin attempt.
Kingston went back to a headlock and Styles was backed into a corner to break it.
Kingston then nailed Styles with a couple of rights, but Styles hit a knee and threw Kingston through the ropes to the floor.
Styles went for a crossbody over the top rope but Kingston rolled into the ring so Styles landed on the apron.
Kingston then caught him with a forearm to drop Styles to the apron.
Kingston hit a flip on Styles for a pin attempt and then chopped Styles in a corner.
Styles reversed a whip into a corner and Kingston came off the ropes with a dropkick, the used a leg scissors to rolled Styles up for a pin attempt.
Kingston knocked Styles to the floor with a dropkick, and Styles puled Kingston to the floor. Kingston nailed him with a right, and Styles reversed a whip to hit Kingston in the throat and throw him into the ring steps.
Woods came over to help Kingston, but Omos stood between them as we headed to commercial.
Styles nearly had it
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Kingston fought off Styles and Styles hit with an elbow off the ropes.
Styles locked in a reverse chin lock to grind Kingston down, but Kingston tried to fight out of it but Styles pulled him back to the mat.
Kingston managed to his a couple of headlocks to get loose and then hit a flying forearm and a clothesline and dropkick.
Kingston then hit a leaping clothesline and a Boom Drop.
Styles countered a Trouble in Paradise with a step up kick. Nice counter. Not sure if we saw that before or not.
Kingston caught Styles in the corner with a kick, and Kingston headed to the top rope but Styles caught him with a right.
Styles headed up and went for a superplex but Kingston blocked him and fought him off and hit a splash as Styles got up for a near pinfall.
Styles then countered and SOS with a Calf Crusher but Kingston reached the ropes to break the hold.
Kingston rolled Styles up for a pin attempt, and Styles hit a dropkick to Kingston’s knee.
Styles was about to hit a Phenomenal Forearm when Woods blared hit trombone in Styles ear.
As Omos backed Woods off, Kingston countered a delayed Phenomenal Forearm with a SOS for the pin.

Backstage, Sheamus was asked why he accepted Bobby Lashley’s challenge and he said that’s because it’s who he is.
He doesn’t back down from a fight and lives to fight.
When asked why McIntyre helped him, he said it’s because of respect and the world needs more of it, but he never asked him to stick his ego in his match.
Riddle then came in and rode his scooter around Sheamus asking his typical annoying questions.
Sheamus asked if his scooter is easy to ride, and as Riddle explained how easy it is, Sheamus hit him in the midsection with it and Riddle asked if it’s something he said.
WWE Raw Results think it was. What do you all think? With any luck Sheamus will get the United States title after everything is said and done.
