We’re getting into some of the good and imaginative matches now, and Impact Wrestling Hardcore Justice Preview is stoked to see these.
Doc Gallows w/Karl Anderson vs. Black Taurus w/Decay
This should be a great match with Black Taurus riding an undefeated streak since arriving in Impact Wrestling, and he’s going to face a very upset Doc Gallows.
Gallows and Anderson are fresh off of losing to Rich Swann, Willie Mack, and Eddie Edwards and they’ll be looking for a way to kickstart their push to face FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay) at Rebellion.
We’re going to go with Black Taurus winning here partly because Decay will be in his corner and Rosemary has shown a fun ability to influence the match.
Plus, it’ll make a more entertaining storyline for Gallows and Anderson to stumble as they try to build themselves up for their rematch in the waning weeks prior to Rebellion.
We’re probably wrong here, but we think it’d be a pretty cool way of showing them reeling to make a possible victory look more impressive.
Hardcore Blindfold Match – Brian Myers vs. Jake Something
Brian Myers made a statement when he attacked Jake Something and Matt Cardona to accept Cardona’s challenge.
In doing so, he drove Jake’s eye into the corner of the ring steps on a night when Tommy Dreamer was looking for any and all matches to make for Hardcore Justice.
So, when Jake demanded a match against Myers Dreamer was more than happy to make one. He referred to it as “Blind Games” and we’re going to get a super unique hardcore blindfold match.
This has so many possibilities to be super serious as well as hilarious when one of them (probably Myers) bounces a kendo stick off the top rope and smacks himself in the forehead, knocking himself out.
Jake could then trip over him for the pin.
More likely, we think this will be a serious match and it’ll be a brutal one. Especially since we expect Myers to peak and Jake will have enough of it.
This is a tossup for us to pick a winner and leave this one to you all. Have fun with it.
Chairly Legal Match – Shera vs. Hernandez
Rohit Raju hired Hernandez to help him take care of his unruly former helper and it helped Raju to get a win in a tag match against Shera and Fallah Bahh with an illegal chair.
Now, Shera’s going to get a chance to return the favor in one of Impact Wrestling Hardcore Justice Preview favorite names – Chairly Legal Match.
This is going to be a magnificently brutal match between two of the most intimidating wrestlers on the roster and it won’t be for the light of heart.
We expect Shera to win this and clear a path to facing Rohit at Rebellion. Of course, we’re saying this assuming Rohit won’t play a part in the outcome of this match which he could very well have.
This is going to be a gloriously fun special.
