In WWE alone, we’ve seen 13 televised singles matches between Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, with the last one coming on the April 9th, 2018 episode of Monday Night RAW. Digging into their past, you can add another 19 clashes from 2003 to 2012, including unsanctioned fights without honor, last man standing matches and more.

However tonight is their biggest yet, simply because they meet at Wrestlemania. These two have waited their whole career for this, but even having Logan Paul involved can’t damper this one. Owens simply wants to knock some sense back into his old friend, and hopes that he isn’t too far gone.

Sami Zayn Gets Blindsided With A Powerbomb

Before the match, Zayn would take a moment to welcome his special guest of honor! His only ally, the only man who believes in the conspiracy, Logan Paul! The crowd was finally excited to see someone in this match, as Kevin Owens hit the ring for KOMania V! Logan Paul took a seat by commentary, not even getting a headset.

They’d take their corners, and Zayn ran right into a Pop Up Powerbomb as the match started. Zayn slipped out of the ring, and Owens looked for a powerbomb onto the apron. Owens was countered, and Zayn was hit with chops before being bounced off the top rope. Zayn was dropped into the corner, before hitting a cannonball!

Kevin Owens set up the frog splash, and Zayn slipped the apron. He’d get the boot to the face when met by Owens, before hitting a Brainbuster on the apron! Owens would get back into the ring by eight, and Zayn came in with some aggressive blows. A Michinoku Driver dropped Owens right on his head, but Owens kicked out at two. ]

Kevin Owens Puts His Best Friend Down

They’d go to the top rope, perhaps for a BRAINBUSTAHH, but Owens fought his way free and sent Zayn to the mat. Owens came down with the frog splash, getting a two count of his own. Zayn was hit with a Pumphandle Neckbreaker, for another near fall.

Owens set up the Package Piledriver, but Zayn countered out into an exploder suplex into the corner. He’d counter a stunner attempt into the Blue Thunder Bomb, before hitting another exploder into the corner and a brainbuster, but Owens held on and kicked out at two!

Zayn would throw some blows, before setting Owens back up on the top rope. Owens took him down with a Fisherman Buster, before being hit with the Helluva Kick to the jaw. Zayn set him up for a second one, but ran into a superkick. A second one staggered Zayn, before Owens set up the Stunner for the win!

Logan Paul would congratulate Owens, and Zayn blew up at him, before getting in his face and shoved away. Owens had his arm raised by Paul, before hitting him with the Stunner to cap off his night!

Was this the Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn match that you hoped for at Wrestlemania? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
