Last week on 205 Live, Bollywood Boyz failed to get the win over Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari in tag team action. This week, they’re back at it as they look to take on the team of Jake Atlas & August Grey. Bollywood Boyz are easily the more experienced tag team, but that didn’t do them much good last week with Nese & Daivari. Will Atlas & Grey get a major tag team win?
Mutual Respect Shown Early On
After being made to dance with the Bollywood Boyz last week, Tom Phillips wanted to ‘share the wealth’ and directed them to the new ring announcer of 205 Live. I still miss the duo of Nigel McGuinness & Vic Joseph being on the call for 205 Live, but Tom Phillips is doing a fine job, and the banter is building up.
Sunil would start alongside Grey, locking up hard in the middle of the ring and applying a headlock. Grey tried to shove him off, but Sunil held on tight and took Grey down the mat. Sunil couldn’t keep him down, but he blocked a hip toss attempt with one of his own.
Grey was able to kick Sunil off before a standoff came, and they’d give a fist bump and Sumir & Atlas got tags. Atlas went for a quick roll up for a one count, and Sumir came back with a crucifix pinfall. Sumir went for another roll up, but Atlas shoved him off and out of the ring.
August Grey Comes Off The Top Rope
Atlas would tag in Grey, and Sumir was getting isolated in the wrong corner. The pressure would be kept on, with Atlas applying a body scissor hold. Sumir was able to break free, before Grey tagged in and threw him hard into a neutral corner, Sumir hitting chest first and falling back.
Sumir countered a body slam and was able to get a tag to Sunil, who came in with some fire and hit a crossbody block onto Atlas. An atomic drop and a spinning heel kick took Atlas down. Grey came in to help his partner, but took a diving back elbow off the top from Sumir. Atlas was hit with a neckbreaker before a top rope elbow drop for a two count.
Sumir was taken out of the corner, and Sunil missed a tag to Grey. One rope walk crossbody from Grey, and this one was over. Will The Bollywood Boyz ever ben a serious threat as a tag team? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
