WWE Smackdown Results came back from commercial as Kayla Braxton interviewed Cesaro backstage following a recap of his and Seth Rollins’ feud.
Cesaro said Rollins put him on a stretcher, then said WWE is his life and he loves what he does. Rollins tried to take it away from him because he doesn’t think he deserves it.
Rollins came up to them and said he’s a professional and wants a conversation one on one. They took their seats after Braxton left, and Rollins said he just came there to tell him he disgusts him.

He added that everything Cesaro does and stands for is a disgrace, and that he’ll show Cesaro and everyone like him what he does deserve when he puts him in his place.
Cesaro told him he didn’t think Rollins had it in him to talk to him man to man, and he respects everything she said and as a competitor, then shoved him and his seat over backwards after he told him he’ll see him Sunday.
Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell – Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey went right to grab a chair from under the ring and nailed Reigns with it, but Reigns grabbed the chair and threw Rey aside and then tossed away the chair.
Reigns followed Reigns to the floor where Rey sprayed him in the face with a fire extinguisher, and then hit Reigns with it twice before he tried to roll him into the ring, but Reigns held onto the bottom rope.
Rey then went for another batch of toys and hit Reigns with a toolbox as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Rey hammered away on Reigns’ ribs with a chair, and then put it against Reigns’ back and hit a dropkick.
Rey then choked out Reigns with the chair, then wrapped it around Reigns’ neck and bounced him off the cage a couple of times.
He then shoved Reigns into the ring post with the chair still around his neck.
Reigns grabbed Rey and hit a headbutt after he removed the chair, and then missed a spear into a table in the corner of the cage.
Reigns hit a couple of elbows, then blocked a sunset flip power bomb into the cage. Reigns then swung Rey like a pendulum into two sides of the cage, and then lawn darted Rey into the cage.

Reigns turns up the brutality
Returning from commercial, Reigns was in control and stalking Rey in the ring and then hammered away with a series of knees before he threw him across the ring.
Reigns hit a Superman Punch, and then demanded the announcer acknowledge him. He then went for a spear, but Rey caught him with a dropkick.
Rey flipped him into the ropes, but Reigns countered the 619 with a right hand.
Reigns missed a spear and hit the ring post, and Rey hit a 619 and then hammered away with a steel chair.
Rey placed the chair on reigns and headed to the top rope and hit a frog splash but he hurt himself and couldn’t go for the pin.

Rey headed back to the top rope and hit another frog splash for a near pinfall.
Rey went for a hurricanrana, but Reigns caught him and power bombed him over the ropes and into the cell.
Reigns threw him back in the ring and locked in his guillotine and Rey tapped out.
With the cage lifted, Jimmy came out and held up Reigns’ arm in victory.
Rey tried to crawl out of the ring but Reigns wasn’t done. Rey pulled himself to his feet and Reigns locked in the guillotine again and then tossed Rey aside when he tapped out a gain.
Reigns held the Universal Championship high as the show ended and told Rey, “Happy Father’s Day.”
This was a good show with some good matches, and Reigns won a hotly contested match. What did you think of it?
