I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for what should be a fun night as the Road to Slammiversary continues with Sami Callihan and Kenny Omega’s contract signing.
With the Draw involved and Moose lurking what could possible go wrong?
We’ll be back for the 8 p.m. EST start time to get Impact Wrestling Live Results started, so grab plenty of snacks and settle in.
Segment 1
BTI (Before The Impact) – Steve Macklin vs. Suicide
This was a really good match that ended with Macklin winning a hard fought match with his inverted driver.
Suicide was close a couple of times, but Macklin switched gears and that was it.
Segment 2
Brian Myers w/Sam Beale vs. Jake Something
Jake won a good match with a Black Hole Slam, but Sam Beale attacked Jake from behind and Myers never acknowledged Jake’s a professional.
Matt Cardona ran out to help and sent Myers and Beale packing.
Segment 3
Open Challenge – Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lady Frost
This was a quick one Purrazzo won with a Fukiwara Armbar, but Gail Kim came out to interrupt her gloating as we headed to commercial.
Segment 4
Gail Kim told Purrazzo she’ll face a mystery opponent at Slammiversary, and Impact and Purrazzo’s world will change as she’ll face the best.
Who will it be?
Segment 5
Moose attacked Chris Sabin in Swinger’s Palace and officially accepted his challenge for a match at Slammiversary.
Segment 6
3 on 1 match – W. Morrissey vs. Jason Page, Manny Smith, Dante Evans
Morrissey accepted Eddie Edwards challenge for a Slammiversay match, the easily destroyed his opponents for the win.
Segment 7
Susan and Kimber Lee vs. Rosemary and Havok
This was a quick and brutal win with Rosemary and Havok dominating and hitting a spear on Susan while Havok held her.
Segment 8
Tenille Dashwood jumped Jazz on All About Me.
A four way for the tag titles was announced for Slammiversary between VDB, The Good Brothers, Rich Swann and Willie Mack, and TJP and Fallah Bahh at Slammiversary
Segment 9
Tornado Match – TJP w/Fallah Bahh vs. Deaner w/Eric Young, Rhino, Joe Doering vs. Karl Anderson w/Doc Gallows vs. Rich Swann w/Willie Mack
The action came fast and heavy, and Swann took the momentum after hitting a dive on everyone on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
A good match went back and forth before Anderson spun out of a Deaner DDT and hit a Gun Stun on Deaner for the win.
Segment 11
Slammiversary Contract signing went off without much of a hitch.
After Omega signed it, footage played that showed the attack on Callis was staged and Callihan appeared in the ring.
Omega mocked him with his finishing move after he beat Callihan down, but Callihan hit a low blow then piledrove Omega.
He then power bombed Omega through the table for good measure after he signed the contract.
