Since leaving the WWE after his contract ended, Daniel Bryan’s name has been tossed around for possibly going to AEW, and bodyslam.net has reported that Daniel Bryan is now All Elite!
If true, this comes as no surprise as AEW seemed like a perfect fit for Bryan as they’ve been gaining steam over the last year and don’t have house shows, which will require less traveling.
In fact, it appears all of his requests were met, and along with fewer dates he’s getting comparable money, able to work in Japan, and has creative input on his character.
Debut date already set?
Also according to bodyslam.net, it looks like Bryan’s AEW debut could be at their big debut in New York City at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22.
Considering the reports AEW has been outselling the WWE, who are appearing at Madison Square Garden, this should add some more fuel to the rumor fire.
Reportedly, AEW was going to hold off on debuting Bryan until after their All Out pay-per-view plans were finished, but the news of CM Punk’s potential signing may have sped things up.
This is great news for AEW and fans alike as we’ll get to see Bryan ply his craft after a fresh start, and it’ll be awesome to see what ideas he brings to his character.

The sky’s the limit
One thing is for sure, and that’s this is going to change things for AEW in a huge way. Bryan gives them another proven star that is still at the top of his game and is a fan favorite.
And with plenty of new matchups for him, we’re going to get to see tons of fresh matches and storylines with him as he and AEW look to continue improving and giving us the best product they can.
We can say that we hope one of his first matches is against Kenny Omega. That’s going to be one for the ages and could go a long way into cementing AEW’s future.
