A few weeks back, Dan Lambert of American Top Team invaded AEW and tried to hijack the show, only to be squashed by Lance Archer. However tonight, he intends to come back and bring some backup from the world of MMA. When he showed up first time, he had Amanada Nunes and Jorge Masvidal on hand, but who knows who will be backing him up tonight. All we know is two champions are set to show up.
Dan Lambert Brings Two Former UFC World Heavyweight Champions To AEW
Lambert would rant about the lack of free speech in AEW, saying that they’re riding the cancel culture train to punch a 52 year old man in the face. Andrei Arlovski & Junior dos Santos would back him up tonight. A call to Dana White ensured they can get physical if anyone trys to shut Lambert up.
The fans would be called out for supporting a bunch of wannabe badasses who couldn’t wrestle a wet paper bag. Lance Archer would make his way to the ring, and be attacked by The Men of The Year. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page were paid off by Lambert, and did their job perfectly.
This seems far from over, and fan reception to Dan Lambert has been vastly positive. He’s got history in Impact Wrestling, and has the potential to be an incredible heel manager. This could be just what Men of The Year needed to finally become a legitimate threat, though who knows what type of deal they have.
