‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week, and hopefully a storyline. To prove it, we have some spoilery goodies to help get us ready.
It looks like we’re in the home stretch to find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and we could have this wrapped up by the weekend, which will lead to us having some new storylines to focus on come Monday.
Bur first, our would be rescuers will have to run through a gambit of possibilities before they reach the piece of cheese at the end of the maze.
And it could end thanks to one person.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 27: Abby takes over
After spending weeks to months wallowing in her own selfish world, it’s great to see Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) take matters into her own hands to find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and her daughter.
It’s been coming as she’s been sinking deeper into herself and her enablers haven’t been helping, but being able to do something productive should snap her out of it.
Of course, she could snap in other ways if Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) doesn’t break and tell her what she needs and wants to know.
We don’t think he’ll resist as hard as he could, but that doesn’t mean she won’t take out her frustration and pain on him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers wouldn’t blame her if she snapped and really tore into him. We just hope someone arrives to stop her or she’s able to call with Mariah’s location before it’s too late.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 27: Devon the hero
While Abby is trying to get Mariah’s location her way, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be working to find her himself.
While what the discovery he makes is unclear, we think it’ll either be he’s found Mariah or he’s discovered the truth about Stitch’s child and more.
While the latter feels more likely, we’d like to see him get to be the hero since he was the first to actually see through Stitch’s cover and his desire to find Mariah’s been second to none.
It also feels right that either he or Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) be the ones to find her given their connection to her and that they deserve the credit for doing so.
Will Abby get Stitch to open up and tell her where Mariah is?
