After making deep cuts to the NXT roster, it’s time for WWE to start bringing in more names. With them no longer looking for indy wrestlers, this will mean they are mainly going to be looking for some impressive athletes. However, the latest class at the WWE Performance Center will also include two second generation wrestlers, who could make a big splash in WWE.
Brother Of Gable Steveson Has Signed, Alongside Son Of Bull Buchanan
The first name is Bobby Steveson. He is the brother of 2020 Olympic Gold medalist, Gable Steveson. Fans are hoping to see Gable signed to WWE very soon, but at 6 feet fall and 220 pounds with some amatuer wrestling background? Bobby is set top make just as big of a splash.
Next up is twenty year old Ben Buchanan. A state wrestling champion in Alabama, Ben is the son of former WWE Tag Team Champion, Bull Buchanan. At 6 foot 4 inches and 250 pounds combined with his youth? WWE could have a star in the making here, and he’s just what they were looking for with new hiring practices.
Brady Booker is another young and large talent, coming from a football and archery background. He was a middle linebacker at the University of South Florida, and at only twenty one years old and a similar size to Buchanan? This is another name to keep your eyes on.
Little Brother Of Jimmy & Jey Uso Joins WWE
The only female in the class is the twenty one year old gymnast, bodybuilder and CrossFit athlete from Prior Lake, Minn. Jessica Woynilko was on the US national team in 2016 as a gymnast, and that level of athletic ability should help her adapt to professional wrestling well.
Joseph Fatu has a last name that alone could help him get into WWE, as he’s the younger brother of current Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos, and son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. However, he’s also a 6 foot 2 inch former football player, bringing some nice size to the table.
Finally, twenty three year old Joshua Dawkins is moving from the school of WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley to the WWE Performance Center. He’s the nephew of NBA legend Darryl Dawkins, and D-Von has proven to be a solid trainer, giving Dawkins some good potential.
