NXT was late in the game of releases, but they did add a lot of numbers to that massive list of free agents currently looking at a number over 50. Some notable names include two former champions Bobby Fish and Bronson Reed. But now that NXT is going to be focused on younger wrestlers rather than the older generation. It’s looking like more of the older generation of wrestlers that are currently part of the NXT roster could be added to the massive list of free agents.
Who’s next to the chopping block?
These reports come from Dave Melters, who said:
“I’ve heard names on the chopping block. You don’t know until it happens, but I’ve definitely heard names. A lot of the guys who’ve been there for a long time, those are the names that have been talked about.”
When these reports are announced from any reliable sources, the releases are not far behind. So it looks like this could happen very soon as it seems like there are already discussions of who is next.
NXT being Taken Over
It looks these releases will be due to the heavily rumoured reports of Vince and Dunn taking over from NXT. The new view of younger wrestlers being the main eventers of NXT. Its likly that we going too see some of the biggest stars get released in the next batch. This due to the older generation being the currently being on top of the NXT card.
