Tonight, we will see twenty women enter the ring and be thrown out – with one standing tall. It’s Casino Battle Royale time, and the winner gets a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at a future show. Everyone from former champions like Riho, Hikaru Shida, and Nyla Rose are in the field, but battle royales are unpredictable… and this one could have surprises.
Clubs & Diamonds Fill The Ring
We’d start with The Clubs, with Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue, Emi Sakura (with Lulu Pencil), The Bunny, and Abadon. They’d all hit the ring and Shida was the target of Sakura. Trainer and student would clash, before Abadon would go after Shida. Skye Blue would drop Bunny, before Abadon kicked her off the apron. The Bunny got Abadon out, and Shida was put in the Romero Special as Bunny hopped around. Shida would try to work with Bunny to take Sakura out, as we hit the next set of ladies.
Diamonds were next, with Anna Jay wasting no time going right after The Bunny. Keria Hogan hit the ring, as did KiLynn King. Diamante and Nyla Rose rounded this group out, and business was picking up. Rose splashed Shida in the corner before Shida would get Sakura to the apron and send her out. Hogan & King were out quickly by Rose, with Shida out soon after. Diamante & Rose had an alliance, and they’d be after The Bunny & Anna Jay. It lasted all of a few seconds.
Hearts & Spades Come Out
Hearts were next, starting with Thunder Rosa who hit a dropkick on Rose, Penelope Ford & Riho close behind. Jaime Hayter was next, with Big Swole last. In the ring, Riho hit a big 619, and Swole was after Diamante. The ring was really filling up and action was getting hard to call. Riho was already out, and Diamante was out soon after. Rose & Hayter would go after Rosa, but Rose took a huge dropkick to the face.
The Spades were out next, and only the Wildcard was left to come. Tay Conti was quick to come help Anna Jay, Red Velvet close behind after Hayter. Leyla Hirsch was next, hitting some German Suplexes. Jade Cargill was next, and finally Rebel. Clearly a major favorite.
Ruby Soho Is Here!
With everyone but the wildcard in, this one was really set up to finish. Conti would almost be sent out, and Rebel was sent out by Red Velvet. Anna Jay took out The Bunny, and Penelope Ford took out Jay. Jade press slammed Hirsch out of the ring, and the countdown would be up. The crowd was chanting for Ruby Soho, and when Rancid hit they exploded.
Her destination wasn’t unknown, it was the AEW ring. Soho went after Jade, and then Rose. Rose hit a headbutt, and Rosa came off her back for a hurricanrana. Jade hit a pumphandle facebuster, before she dumped Red Velvet out. Rose would dump Jade out, and Conti got Ford out. Conti was out next, and we were down to three.
Rose, Rosa and Soho would square off, with Rose using her size to beat both down. Rosa would trip her over the ropes, and it was down to her and Soho. One of them is getting a shot at Britt Baker, and they’d trash talk before striking it out. Rosa would get her on the ropes, and go for the Fire Thunder Driver before being thrown over the top rope.
Soho was pulled over as well, and they’d battle on the apron. A knee strike saw Rosa stumble, but not fall. Rosa lifted Soho up, but was shoved into the corner post and hits the Gamiguri for the win!
