Update On Bronson Steiner - The Next Recruit Of NXT Faction Diamond Mine?

Last night on WWE NXT, we saw the debut of Brutus & Julius Creed. These are the two newest members of the Diamond Mine faction, and their debut was a high point on a great show. Fans were comparing them to teams from NXT’s past like American Alpha & Authors of Pain, and even compared them to the Steiner Brothers. However, Diamond Mine could soon have an actual member of the Steiner legacy, as Bronson Steiner is just about ready to make his impact.

Bronson Steiner Is Set To Carry On The Legacy.

Signed to WWE back in 2020, the son of WWE & WCW legend Rick Steiner has been working on his professional wrestling skills in the WWE Performance Center. With the rebranding of NXT looming, this former college football star and Baltimore Ravens prospect will soon be making his way to the ring. Bronson has some in-ring experience prior to WWE, having wrestled on the indies with uncle Scott Steiner there to hype him up.It’s very likely he will be a part of the Diamond Mine faction alongside The Creed Brothers, Roderick Strong, Hideki Suzuki & Malcolm Bivens.

Bivens & Suzuki aren’t stepping into the ring anytime soon (despite having all the skills to do so) and most factions in NXT tend to have four members who can step into the ring – just incase WarGames is called. Bronson Steiner would fit their mold, and benefit from having a veteran like Strong and a smooth talker like Bivens to help him through the early days. Steiner has been posting to social media to expect him soon, and he could very well become a focal star in the coming months once his debut comes.

    Debunking A Conspiracy Theory

However, there has been a bit of a conspiracy theory with a section of fans that have already soured on Bronson. There is a belief that his presence and family legacy was part of the reason that former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed was released from WWE. WWE tends to not like having multiple wrestlers with the same name, as to not have overlapping branding. The theory goes that with Bronson Steiner set to make his debut, WWE had to clear the way for him – which meant cutting Reed from his contract.

This is largely baseless, as WWE would have just rebranded Bronson Reed, like they have with so many other NXT talents. The truth is WWE just didn’t see major potential in Bronson Reed after getting some dark matches and shots on WWE Main Event, and that was why he was cut. This is the same situation as others who got cut, such as Jake Atlas & Bobby Fish.

Do you believe that Steiner had something to do with Reed being cut from his deal? Will he be joining Diamond Mine? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
