A new report has now appeared on why many NXT contracts are ending soon or have already ended. Including Adam Cole, whose contract has already ran out, and he is now in AEW. Pete Dunne who has recently resigned from his contract with WWE. But other contracts like Johnny Gargano are another on the list of contracts coming to an end. It has now been revealed why all these contracts are ending at the same time.
Turned down an offer
Fightful now reports that in 2019, all of the mentioned wrestlers turned down a deal due to the deal not being that good. One of these being Adam Cole himself, who is now in AEW. It’s not looking like WWE are trying that hard to resign the wrestlers, and this is the reason a lot are running out last minute or not signing at all. It’s likely that we could see more NXT contracts ending before the year is over.
We may see more…
It’s now very likely that more NXT contracts will run out. This being due to the fact that NXT is focusing on younger talent rather than the NXT veterans. If NXT isn’t trying to re-sign the NXT wrestlers, it’s possible that this may be a way to let them go without a massive batch of releases. January will be a very interesting month for wrestlers contracts as this is the time contracts seem to be running out.
