‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some spoilery goodies in what looks to potentially be an emotional episode.
Some things never change in Genoa City while others are going to take a couple of turns they hadn’t planned on here or there.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesady, September 21: Ashland’s fight
After months of expecting something insidious to be lurking in Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s past, we were finally told his life resembled Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s.

But someone’s been texting Ashland and it looks like he’s going to confront the person and we’ll have our first tease into what his secret is.
Sure, it’ll probably take a few months for the whole thing to come out, but when it does we’re hoping it’s something more than Ashland has an overdue library book.
Anything less than him being part of the mob will be a huge letdown and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are crossing our fingers on this one.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesady, September 21: Nick keeps Billy off balance
It looks like the working relationship for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s well being will be entering the cold war phase as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will keep Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) guessing.
It’s not a surprise since it was Nick’s intent from the beginning, we just had higher hopes for him to walk the line instead of being a good little Newman for Victor to manipulate.
Still, Billy’s smart enough to realize something’s wrong and he may start backing away from Nick when he doesn’t share what he knows with Billy.
This will probably lead to a small blowup at some point and with Billy taking all the blame as Nick and Victor intended because the boogeyman is bad.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesady, September 21: Mariah’s change of heart
After moving out, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) had an epiphany about what will help her heal, and we have a feeling it’s going to be breast feeding the baby.
If this is her idea, it’s going to create all kinds of fun problems since one of the main agreements is that she won’t breastfeed.
But under the circumstances, we think she’ll try to convince Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that it’s what she needs, and it’ll give Abby to fret for a few more months to her enablers about how unfair her life is.
Mariah is slowly moving toward the creepy kidnapper of babies and we’re starting to get a little disappointed that no one’s bothering to try to get her the help she needs, like they didn’t with Abby.
This has potential, but will that translate onto the screens like we hope it will?
