Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for what should be an interesting night with the fallout from Extreme Rules and the first night of the 2021 draft.
We’ll be back to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling at the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
Round one of the drafts is Smackdown – Roman Reigns, Raw – Big E; Smackdown – Charlotte Flair, Raw – Bianca Belair.
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman cut a promo on defeating Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel, and Lesnar came out and sent Reigns to the floor then nailed the rest of the Bloodline with F-5s.
Segment 2
Kevin Owens vs. Happy Corbin w/Madcat Moss
Owens went right after Corbin, but Moss took his legs out on the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
The match was a quick but entertaining one as Corbin hit an End of Days on the floor follwing a Madcat distraction, then he hit another on Owens in the ring for the win.
Segment 4
Round 2: Smackdown – Drew McIntyre, Raw – Rk-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle), Smackdown – The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods), Raw – Edge.
Segment 5
Seth Rollins took a indepth tour of Edge’s house in one of the best segments we’ve seen in a while.
Segment 6
Carmella vs. Liv Morgan
They got into it before the match started and Carmella put on a protective mask before dropping Morgan with a superkick and faceplant.
WWE 2021 Draft Round 3- Smackdown – Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, Raw – Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H., Smackdown 0 Hit Row, Raw – Keith “Bearcat” Lee.
Segment 7
The New Day and Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy and Dirty Dawgs
This started off fast with plenty of cool reversals and moves, but then Otis caught Ford’s crossbody off the aporn and slammed him into the apron and barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
The pace picked up and the New Day scored the win with Woods hitting a double stomp on Roode for the win.
Segment 9
WWE 2021 Draft Round Four – Smackdown – Naomi, Raw – Rey and Dominik Mysterio, Smackdown – Jeff Hardy, Raw – Austin Theory
Segment 10
Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks
This started off with good technical moves as Becky Lynch joined the commentary team.
Belair sent Banks to the floor with a clothesline and posed to Lynch as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
A good match that had commentary arguments that was just as good ended when Lynch held onto Belair’s hair so Banks could hit a sunset flip or the win.
Then Flair attacked Banks and Belair and stood tall in the ring with her belt held high, and Lynch did the same at the announce desk.
