The WWE Draft happens at least once every year, and with it comes changes to the roster. But what used to be a kind of fun gimmick is quickly becoming one of the worst things in WWE. In the past couple of drafts, nothing much changes with what matches we see.
This is because mostly the moves end up moving both members of the feud just continuing the feud on another channel. Then there is the fact that the story keeps going through this. An example of this is reuniting the New Day after nearly a year but then breaking them up again. Doing the same thing in two drafts makes the Draft feel pointless.
It makes Survivor Series a very hard to watch PPV
Then there is the bizarre timing of when this takes place just months before one of the big PPV of WWE Survivor Series, where the brands go against each other. It feels like if the Draft should be a thing, it should involve this PPV being at least a year apart.
It’s possible that the Draft and PPV could have some fantastic stories, but it does the opposite and makes the whole PPV and Draft feel fake throughout. It makes it feel like the worst part of the brand split and WWE as a whole. This, however, isn’t just making watching WWE at this time of year hard but is also bringing some massive issues to the company as a whole.
The heat between two network
Finally, there is the heat between both networks due to who is going to each brand. Both networks have mentioned this in the past and want certain members of the roster on their brand.
