Chris Hero has yet to make an appearance at one of the massive companies since his release from WWE. However, in an interview with Jericho about the five labours of Jericho. Where many different pitches were made on who the five will be, Chris Hero was mentioned in the discussion as one of the possible opponents. Speaking to Alex McCarthy, Jericho mentioned that Chris Hero was considered saying:
“So once we did Gage, well who else? We had some ideas of (it) being Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno). One of the ideas was maybe one of the Inner Circle like Sammy (Guevara) or Jake (Hager). I thought, ‘That’s so lame’. There’s no way… we had never turned on each other ever, and suddenly MJF is gonna manipulate us to turn on each other for what? Like there’s no way that would happen. I just didn’t feel that at all. “
Could we see Hero in AEW in the future?
There is no clarification if they spoke to Chris Hero directionally, but the consideration might mean we could see Chris Hero in AEW in the coming months. Maybe as a joker card soon.
