Republican politician Jason Smith has called on the Royal family to remove Meghan Markle’s Royal title on the grounds that she continues to interfere in U.S. politics.

Meghan, for her part, has been developing a reputation for getting herself involved in political matters. Just recently, she issued a statement expressing her worry about the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan.
These actions have led some to speculate that Meghan is considering running for U.S. President at some point in the future. And in an attempt to further her cause, Meghan had recently written a letter to the Speaker of the Democratic House, Nancy Pelosi.
It is here where she demanded that there should be paid family leave for workers. And yet, some have had enough of her influence. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jason demanded that the Royals take action.
He said: ‘Ms. Markle’s latest interference in U.S. politics reignites the question in my mind as to why the Royal Family does not simply strip her and Harry officially of their titles.”
The main reason why the Republican has acted this way has been because he has doubts about Meghan’s sincerity. Case in point: Meghan’s recent visit to a school in Harlem, New York.
This is where she attended in order to promote her book called ‘The Bench’ to children from a deprived neighbourhood. However, her appearance raised major concerns as she arrived by wearing expensive clothes. Thus, she was called out for not being relatable to the public.
And this is something that Jason has also picked upon. He added: “Her attempts at appealing to working-class families by recalling her days of eating at Sizzler were laughable.
“[She is concerned]…more at helping global elites get huge tax breaks than helping the working families she claims to have dined with.”
Meghan is certainly making waves in the United States, and that does not look like it will go away. As for whether the Royals remove her title, it looks unlikely at the moment. After all, if they did, Meghan would not keep quiet.
