The big day is finally here, and Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Preview is set to get things rolling.
This is going to be an awesome show with a couple of surprises we think will be Braun Strowman and Buddy Murphy appearing after their WWE release.
There’s also a chance Bray Wyatt could appear, depending on if the reports about him shortening his 90 day non-compete clause is true.
But more importantly, we’re going to see the best Impact Wrestling has to offer and we’re stoked for what’s to come.
Let’s get to the breakdown!

Countdown to Glory Preshow – Awesome Kong to be Inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame
Going into a Hall of Fame is always a special moment, but especially for Awesome Kong. She was among the first to trailblaze the Knockouts Division into existence as well as being one of the best ever.
This is richly deserved. Congratulations and thank you for everything you’ve done and given us.
Countdown to Glory Preshow – Digital Media Championship 6 Way – John Skyler vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Fallah Bahh vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Chelsea Green vs. Madison Rayne (Subbing for Tenille Dashwood)
This will be a fun way to set tonight’s show up as these six will face off to become the first Digital Media Champion.
As great as this lineup is, we think John Skyler or Jordynne Grace will be the first champion. This is really a flip the coin moment and we’re going to sit back and enjoy it.
This is going to be a good one.
Call Your Shot Gauntlet
The story seems set with Chris Sabin coming in at number one and W. Morrissey at number 20, and for the two of them to face off for the win.
While this may be the case, this is where we’ll see a couple of surprises, and we think Braun Strowman will be one of the surprise entrants and we fully expect him to remain standing and alone as Morrissey comes out.
This will be an awesome clash between them, and if it’s the case Strowman will probably win to trigger a feud between him and Morrissey and Moose.
Violent By Design vs. Heath and Rhino?
The old Rhino was close to coming out when Heath was talking to him this week, but VBD sent him back into his shell and Rhino left his best friend at their mercy.
Heath said he’ll face VBD by himself if Rhino doesn’t come out, so will we see the old Rhino return or will Heath be on his own?
Impact Tag Team Championship 3 Way – The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson) (c) vs. FinJuice (David Finlay, Juice Robinson) vs. The Bullet Club (Chris Bey, Hikuleo)
The Good Brothers wanted competition for the Impact tag titles, and now they have plenty after the controversial finish between FinJuice and the Bullet Club.
This has the potential to be the match of the night and we expect a lot of great things in this one, including new champions.
Who will raise their hands in victory?
X-Division Championship 3 Way – Trey Miguel vs. Steve Macklin vs. El Phantasmo
Speaking of match or the night candidates, this will probably win with the collection of styles and explosiveness in the ring.
Macklin is the favorite due to his power and near invulnerability, but he doesn’t need a championship for his character, to we’re thinking it’ll be Trey of El Phantasmo, with Trey getting the win.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Decay (Rosemary, Havok) (c) vs. The IInspiration (Jessica McKay, Cassie Lee)
The IInspiration will make their Impact Wrestling debut by challenging Decay for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.
This will be a fun match, and as much as we love Rosemary and Havok, we won’t be surprised in McKay and Cassie pull out the win.
Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mickie James
In what can be described as a battle of egos pits one of the best ever against the best woman wrestler currently, and this will be an awesome match.
Deonna Purrazzo has fought through everyone in her path to retain the Knockouts Championship, but Mickie James is looking to prove herself once again.
We would love for James to win and have one more run as Knockout Champion, but we think Purrazzo will win this one but barely.
Impact World Championship – Christian Cage (c) vs. Josh Alexander
This is going to be a freaking awesome match and a passing of the torch from Christian to Alexander.
While Christian has downplayed their similarities in promos as he’s leaned more toward the heel side than not, it’s the perfect time for the title to come back to Impact Wrestling and Alexander is the perfect choice.
This would mark the beginning and a new era in Impact Wrestling and the future looks bright with the recent infusion of talent and homegrown talent coming up.
Will Christian retain or will Alexander begin his first reign as world champion? Who are your picks for the other matches? Let Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Preview know in the comments below.
