Segment 1
Countdown to Glory Preshow – Awesome Kong to be Inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame
Gail Kim introduced Awesome Kong, and Kong thanked everyone, especially Kim because without her she wouldn’t have had the career she did.
She told everyone to follow our dreams and ignore the naysayers. It was a great speech that spoke volumes. Thank you for everything, Kong. Congratulations, you deserve this.
Segment 2
Countdown to Glory Preshow – Digital Media Championship 6 Way – John Skyler vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Fallah Bahh vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Chelsea Green vs. Madison Rayne (Subbing for Tenille Dashwood)
This was a fun one Grace win after hitting a Grace Driver on Skyler for the pin.
Segment 3
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Decay (Rosemary, Havok) (c) vs. The IInspiration (Jessica McKay, Cassie Lee)
This was a really good match as the IInspiration channeled their old Iiconics personas but were allowed to have a full match that they won with a double team neckbreaker on Rosemary for the win.
Welcome to Impact Wrestling, ladies. it’s going to be a fun ride.
Segment 4
X-Division Championship 3 Way – Trey Miguel vs. Steve Macklin vs. El Phantasmo
This was an awesome match with unbelievable athleticism that ended when Trey hit a brainbuster and a meterora on El Phantasmo for the won. Congratulations Trey!
Segment 5
Heath and Rhino vs. Violent By Design (Deaner, Joe Doering) w/Eric Young
Heath came out alone and took a serious beating, but Rhino eventually came down and shifted the momentum before hitting a Gore on Deaner for the pin.
The pair embraced after the match and turned to stare down VBD on the ramp.
Segment 6
Call Your Shot Gauntlet
This was an awesome match, and Moose won it after eliminating Morrissey and Swann together, then nailing Cardona with a spear for the win.
Segment 7
Impact Tag Team Championship 3 Way – The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson) (c) vs. FinJuice (David Finlay, Juice Robinson) vs. The Bullet Club (Chris Bey, Hikuleo)
This was a fun one with plenty of action as Anderson blindtagged in off Robinson as he his a splash, and then stole the pin for the Good Brothers to retain the championship.
Segment 8
Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mickie James
This was an awesome back and forth match Mickie finally managed to win after hittitng a step up DDT for the win.
Congratulations Mickie! It’s great to see her have another championship runs.
Segment 9
Impact World Championship – Christian Cage (c) vs. Josh Alexander
This was a new classic as both gave it their all, but Alexander won by an ankle lock submission. In a show of good sportsmanship, Christian placed the belt on his shoulder and embraced him.
Alexander’s wife and child came into the ring to celebrate, but it was too soon.
Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot and hit Alexander with a spear to win the Impact World Championship.
Wow. We expected Alexander to win but didn’t even think Moose would cash in this soon.
