After earlier in the show making it clear that he’s better than us, and everyone knows it after his thrilling match with Darby Allin from Full Gear – MJF would hit the ring. He had a green corduroy suit, and wanted Shawn Spears to do the talking. Spears would shut down the ‘You Suck’ chants, and say he wants everyone to be quiet. He failed, but MJF went ahead.
MJF Perhaps Meets A Man Who Is Better Than Him
MJF is a man who checks all the boxes – the most complete pro wrestler on the planet. He will start a bidding war in 2024, being the future of professional wrestling. MJF has plans to maybe shut down the reign of their hero Hangman Page, and send him off the glue factory. However, the rankings would show a different story – due to MJF only wrestling four times a year.
During his tirade, he’d say no one is on his level, and CM Punk would hit the ring. Here’s another man who checks all the boxes, a complete pro wrestler since MJF was going through puberty. The crowd was loving these two finally coming face to face, but MJF tried to be coy and offer a handshake. Instead, Punk would walk away – pushing MJF’s buttons without doing much of anything.
Elsewhere Darby Allin said he wasn’t taking time off after the match with MJF, and that he has not been broken mentally either. He wants the biggest and the baddest, so Billy Gunn stepped up with Austin and the undefeated Colton Gunn soon showing as well. Billy wants Allin, and Allin has no issues taking down a remnant of the Attitude Era.
Lio Rush & Dante Martin Prove To Be A Top Tag Team
Max Caster & Anthony Bowens tried to add Dante Martin to The Acclaimed just ahead of Full Gear, much like Team Taz. With Lio Rush gone for a few days, Martin was heavily scouted – but he turned down any offers. This pissed The Acclaimed off, and tonight, they will meet Rush & Martin in tag team action. Nothing too good in the pre-match rap tonight sadly, but Rush & Martin shut them up with tandem dives.
In the ring, Rush would work with Martin to cut down Bowens with lightning fast strikes. Things slowed down a bit as Martin tried and failed to throw strikes with Bowens, and Caster yanking him outside for a double suplex on the floor. Caster would hit some mounted punches in the middle of the ring, and Tony Schiavone pondered starting his own team with Dante Martin as the star recruit.
Bowens would hit a big suplex for a two count, and Martin was in trouble here. He’d weather the storm and use some crazy agility to get Rush into the match. Lio Rush exploded into the ring and changed the course of the match with a big axe kick that got a two count.
Team Taz Wants Their Answer
The contract is still in play to join Team Taz – and they’d offer condolences towards the family of Rush. Taz said that Rush knows this is all business, and they’re patient. They waited for Hobbs to join, and he’s been a huge help for Team Taz. Dante Martin could kick off a hall of fame level career with Team Taz, or a mediocre one with Rush.
