Of all the WWE releases in the month of November, few raised more eyebrows than that of Keith Lee. The Limitless One had an excellent run in NXT, becoming the first and currently only man to hold both the NXT North American & NXT Championships at the same time, and things were seemingly off to a great start after he made his way to the main roster. Sadly, beating Randy Orton on PPV clean in under ten minutes would be his only major win, as WWE couldn’t seem to figure out how to use him. His final run was as Keith “Bear Cat” Lee, but nowadays he’s looking more like Keith “Silver Fox” Lee.
Keith Lee Is Now Sporting Some White Hair
Taking to social media to once again greet his fans ahead of Thanksgiving, they would be shocked by what they saw. Lee was sporting gray hair both on top of his head, and around his chin. This was in stark contrast to the black hair and beard everyone is used to, which was a dye job all along. Keith Lee would explain this, saying the following.
“Here’s a fun fact about me. I started getting white hair at 16 years of age! Personally, I like it. I wish it was all white. Unfortunately, many don’t understand science, and *only* associate it with age haha.”
This is a look that Lee will likely stick with going forward as well, due to massively positive fan feedback. It has him looking more grizzled and like a veteran of the ring, while also just being more natural for lee. The silver on black look is not an easy one to pull off, but Lee looks incredible with it.
Still Some Time Before He’s Un-Lee-ashed Again
It will be a while before Lee is able to show up in the world of professional wrestling. He was released on November 4th, putting his non-compete clause end date on Wednesday, February 2nd.
This could allow him to show up right on an episode of AEW Dynamite, where many fans are hoping to see him next. Other options include New Japan Pro Wrestling, where a rematch with Tomohiro Ishii is waiting. Where do you hope to see Keith Lee after February 2nd?
