Ghislaine, for her part, was implicated in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein scandal in which she had worked for the deceased as his assistant by helping him to apparently conduct the trafficking.
Given that he is no longer alive, the full brunt of the punishment has been directed towards her. And yet, Jeffrey’s death has continued to throw up more questions than answers.
According to reports, Jeffrey had committed suicide while he was in prison. However, a certain number of people refuse to accept this, given that the cameras were not apparently working.
Therefore, it would have been entirely possible to have him removed without leaving a trace of evidence. Although there is nothing to suggest that this had actually happened, it has not stopped people from believing it to be the case.
And given that no cameras were allowed inside the courtroom, people believe that something is up. In a post on Twitter, one user said: “The Ghislaine Maxwell Sex Trafficking Trial starts TODAY.
“This is one of the biggest Trials of the century with many Elites being accused of the most heinous crimes imaginable Cameras are conveniently not allowed in the courtroom, so we will not be able to watch.”
The primary reason why cameras would not be allowed is because of the sensitivity of the case. Given that it is extremely important to take steps to ensure that anonymity is involved, partly due to the number of victims who could be named, it is in the best interest of the public to keep things private.
However, others have taken it a step further. Some have suggested that the timing of the incident has allowed the trial to be downplayed due to the fact that it coincides with the discovery of the new Covid variant ‘Omicron.’
In another post, a user stated: “Yanno, I’m not in denial of the pandemic, but isn’t it convenient every media outlet is reporting on yet another variant instead of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.”
