Former Bachelor lead Colton Underwood has admitted that he is only on speaking terms with one other member from the franchise.

This should come as no surprise, given how Colton’s coming out journey played out. During the course of this revelation, Colton had ended up hurting his ex, Cassie Randolph.
Not only was he questioning his sexuality, but Cassie also ended up filing a restraining order against him because she felt unsafe, despite it later being dropped.
These actions have not earned him many friends, but there is one person that he can count on. During an interview in Us Weekly, Colton spoke on how he is only in touch with the show’s former host Chris Harrison.
He said: “I don’t watch the show. I mean, the only person that I really talked to is Chris [Harrison] still. Chris and I stay in touch.” On reflection, this is understandable for the following reasons.
First of all, both of them are aware of what it is like to suffer huge backlash at the hands of the show. Just as Colton was slammed, so was Chris following claims that his comments in response to the Rachael Kirkconnell scandal were perpetuating racism.
These claims ultimately led to Chris departing the show. Secondly, Chris managed to see Colton’s journey on the show first-hand, given that he was the host during his season. That is why it is not a shock to see them still be on good terms.
He added: “I will say this [since] Chris was about the only one from the franchise who really reached out and sort of let me know that he was there for me, [asking] if there’s anything he can do.”
This begs the question, is there any hope of Colton patching things up with Cassie? As of now, this seems extremely unlikely as she has distanced herself ever since he came out. This is partly because Cassie is very happy in her personal life.
Therefore, this is something that Colton will have to live with. His following comments confirmed as much: “I don’t have really any relationships in the franchise anymore.”
