‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Joe Gorga had a night to forget after he was escorted off stage following his comedy gig in New York City.

Joe may be known for his hard-hitting personality, but it looks as though not everybody was convinced about whether he had a light-hearted side to him. According to reports, Joe was in attendance at the Governors’ Comedy Club.
Everything had been running smoothly until Joe had decided to take to the stage. Soon after, things started to go from bad to worse. In the video here, we can see that Joe is clearly pumped up for the performance.
And as a way to get the crowd on board, he is continually heard saying: “Are you ready?” With the crowd answering that they were ready to get entertained, Joe began his act.
But rather than bringing the house down, Joe’s jokes did not resonate with the audience. Not only was it inaudible, but it was not bringing out laughter from the audience. In fact, they only ended up jeering him.
In response, Joe started cursing towards the crowd and refused to leave the stage after being told to do so. With things being at a deadlock, Joe’s wife Melissa Gorga arrived on stage to escort her husband off, much to his embarrassment.
Not to worry, though, Joe had a very good reason why his performance did not live up to the hype. Mike Martocci, who happens to be a manager for Joe, had this to say: “Joe was sick that day. He had a cold.
“He took Sudafed and then had a couple of Scotches. It just hit him when he went on stage. We came back the next night, and he made a joke about it.”
Nevertheless, it was still a memorable moment for the couple. In the picture here, we can see that Joe and Melissa are standing next to each other as they have smiles on their faces.
