Tristan Thompson has apologised after reports confirmed that he is in fact the father to none other than Maralee Nichols’ child.

Maralee, for her part, had claimed that Tristan was the father after they had began to see each other while Tristan was still with Khloe Kardashian.
While it was not surprising that Tristan had continued to be unfaithful, as shown by his previous track record, the very fact of the matter is that being a father was the last thing that people expected to hear.
But with that now having been established, Tristan held up his hands and apologised for the damage that he has caused. In a post to his fans on Instagram, he said: “I take full responsibility for my actions.
“Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
The main reason why this was so significant is because Tristan will now have to engage in co-parenting duties with two people.
And given that he had worked so hard to win the trust of Khloe after his initial cheating allegations came to light, this news is bound to affect the relationship with his daughter (True) that he has formed with Khloe.
In addition, it is beyond any doubt that Tristan will no longer be able to have a chance of getting back together with Khloe as this demonstrates that a leopard cannot change its spots. And that is something that Tristan has now gone on to recognise.
He added: “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions have certainly not lined up with the way I view you.”
Regardless of Tristan’s apology, it simply is a case of too little too late. He has had countless chances in order to reform, but having failed to take them, he must live with the consequences come what may.
