This past week on WWE NXT, we’d see the return of WALTER. Following losing the NXT UK Championship to Ilja Dragunov at NXT Takeover 36, he would vanish from TV. His return would come in a trios match alongside fellow Imperium members Fabian Aichner & Marcel Bartel – losing to Riddle &MSK . However, fans of NXT can finally get some good news as WALTER will be here to stay.
Final Match On NXT UK Is Coming Up Against Nathan Frazier
On the next episode of NXT UK, “WALTER’s Last Stand” is being advertised as the main event match. He will be taking on high flier Nathan Frazier, a student of Seth Rollins and someone earmarked as a future major star for WWE. This will be the final showing on NXT UK for WALTER presumably, with him not going after Ilja Dragunov to reclaim the NXT UK Championship.
WALTER Has Moved To The United States
Right now, WALTER has moved to the United States. This was all that was holding him back from being more active on the NXT roster. WALTER had previously refused to move to the states due to family reasons, but now with him dating NXT UK’s Jinny – he became more open to relocation.
Now, WALTER will be on the NXT roster full time – a potentially big name for the brand. Jinny will likely also be on her way to NXT given this arrangement, and that would be a great addition to the NXT Women’s division. She could even become a female representative of the Imperium faction, potentially allowing them to claim all the titles on the NXT roster.
WALTER is expected to instantly become a main event player, and could be a proper test of the skills of new NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Breakker just claimed the championship off Tommaso Ciampa, but has never faced someone like WALTER during his short career.
