Alexa Nikolas has hit back at Jamie Lynn Spears on the grounds that the latter had made some claims about her in her new memoir ‘Things I Should Have Said.’
Alexa Nikolas Blasts Jamie Lynn Spears Over Her Comments About Her In Her Memoir
Jamie, for her part, is set to release her highly publicized memoir entitled ‘Things I Should Have Said.’
This book is seen as an attempt to set the story straight from the point of view of Jamie, in light of the criticism she has received for not doing enough in helping out her sister Britney Spears.
But as part of having an open and frank disclosure, there is an obvious danger that not everybody is going to be left happy with the content. And so it showed, as Alexa felt that Jaime was being distasteful.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Alexa said: “I was pretty surprised to see her lying up a storm in there. I recently thought we were fine after she tried to use me in her Zoey 101 music video to make herself look better.”
But looking back, it looks as though this was foreseen for the following reasons. First of all, Alexa maintains that Jamie had tried to contact her just recently prior to this revelation coming out.
Although it was not clear at the time why she had done so, the very fact of the matter is that it could only be explained because Alexa was going to be mentioned in the book.
Secondly, Alexa decided to distance herself from Jamie when Britney’s conservatorship battle hit the headlines. In this way, she simply did not want to be connected to anybody involved in any controversy, as it may have inadvertently damaged her career too.
In a statement at the time, Alexa had remarked the following: “I have no idea what is going on over there with her but I want absolute nothing to do with it.
“Typical move for a bully to play the victim card/gaslight others while straight up lying. I responded to her and said ‘Please do not send me anything and please stop contacting me.”
